ACC summons former FBCCI president AK Azad over 'graft'

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned AK Azad, the former FBCCI president and the managing director (MD) of Ha-Meem Group, for interrogating over allegations of amassing wealth illegally.

ACC's Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed it to media on Wednesday.

Mir Mohammad Jainul Abedin, Director of the ACC, signed the summon letter which said AK Azad will have to appear at ACC’s Segunbagicha office on April 3.

Earlier on Tuesday, RAJUK demolished parts of his Gulshan residence built without following an approved design.
