President Abdul Hamid visits Tungipara Monday

President Md Abdul Hamid will visit Tungipara Upazila in Gopalganj on Monday to pay tribute to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, after taking office for a second consecutive term.
The information was provided by Bangabhaban sources.
According to the sources, the President will leave Dhaka at 1:10 pm and land at Tungipara Helipad at 1:50 pm.
Later, the president will pay tributes to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his Mazar (Mausoleum of the Father of the Nation) in Tungipara.
A smartly turned out contingent of the armed forces will give a guard of honour as the president paid his respect.
The President will also offer fateha and a munajat there seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of Bangabandhu.
Earlier on April 26, President`s visit to Tungipara in Gopalganj has been postponed due to unavoidable reason.
