50 Jamaat men held in Satkhira

Police in a special drive arrested 50 Jamaat leaders and activists from different places of the district on various charges on Monday night.
Azam Khan, sub-inspector of Satkhira district Special Branch, said police conducted the drive in the eight upazilas and arrested the leaders and activists on charges of sabotage and drug handling.
Among the arrestees, six people were from sadar, 10 from Kalaroa, five from Tala, six from Kaliganj, 12 from Shymnagar, six from Ashashuni, four from Debhata and two from Patkelghata upazila, police said.
