Man held with 20,000 Yaba pills in Chattogram

Detectives in a drive arrested a young man along with 20,000 Yaba tablets from Maizyartek area under Karnaphuli thana of city on Sunday night.
The arrestee was identified as Nur Helal, 25.
Asif Mohiuddin, assistant commissioner of Detective Branch of Police (Bandar) said being tipped off, a team of DB police conducted the drive in the area at night and stopped motorcyclist Nur Helal on suspicion.
Later, they recovered the Yaba tablets from the oil tank of the motorcycle.
The DB police arrested the youth and seized the vehicle.
A case was filed.
