Female 'drug trader' arrested in Netrakona

Police arrested a suspected female drug trader along with 507grams of heroin from Purba Moinpur in the district town early Monday.
A team of police conducted a drive in the area around 12:30am and arrested Yasmin, wife of Mehdi Hasan, and an accused in a number of drug-related cases, along with the heroin worth Tk 50,70,000, said Md Borhan Uddin Khan, officer-in-charge of Netrakona Model Police Station.
The OC said Mehdi and his wife Yasmin are listed drug traders of the district.
