3 motorbike lifters held in Dhaka

Members of Detective Branch (DB) arrested three alleged motorbike lifters and recovered 18 stolen vehicles from different parts of Dhaka yesterday.
The detainees are: Md Imran Talukdar, Md Jahangir hossain and Md Akram.
The motorbikes were recovered when a team of DB police(west) conducted the raid in Adabor, Mohammadpur and Tejgaon area of the capital yesterday, said a press release.
“The motorbike lifters were stealing bikes for a long period of time. They used duplicate Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) seals to make illegal papers for the motorbikes and later sold those in different places across the country” the press release said.
