49 held in Rajshahi anti-narcotics drive

Police arrested 49 people including ten suspected drug peddlers from different parts of the city from Tuesday evening till Wednesday morning.
Police also recovered drugs from their possession, said a press release issued by the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police.
Law enforcers from Boalia Model Police Station arrested six people, while five people were arrested under Rajpara Police Station, Three under Chandrima Police Station, Seven under Motihar Police Station, four each under Katakhali and Shah Makhdum police stations, 16 people under Kashiadanga Police Station and one each under Belpukur, Poba, Damkura and Airport police stations.
Of them, 15 were wanted in several cases and while 24 others in different criminal cases.
