2 killed in Brahmanbaria road crash

A pick-up van driver and his helper were killed and two other people injured following a collision between a covered-van and the vehicle on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Boishamura area in Sarail upazila on Monday morning.

The deceased were identified as the driver Siraj Miah, 42, and the helper Lokman Hossain, 38, hailing from Bijaynagar upazila.

Hossain Sarker, officer-in-charge of Khatihata highway police, said  the accident took place around 9am when the goods-laden covered van collided with the pick-up van, leaving the duo dead on the spot and two others injured.
