Three killed in Sylhet road crash

At least three people were killed and four others severely injured in a collision involving three vehicles on Sylhet-Sunamganj road at Gobindaganj in Chhatak upazila on Saturday afternoon.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Atikur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Chhatak Police Station, said a Sunamganj bound bus collided head-on with two auto-rickshaws near Sada Bridge in the area around 3 pm, leaving the trio dead on the spot and four others severely injured.

Later, the injured were taken to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital, added the OC.
