Road Transport Bill to be placed before cabinet Monday: Quader

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said the Road Transport Bill will be placed before the Cabinet meeting on Monday for approval.

The draft bill will be placed before the Cabinet meeting following the directives of the Prime Minister, he said while talking to reporters at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

The Law Ministry has already completed the vetting of the Road Transport Bill, said Rezaul Karim, public relations officer of the Law Ministry.

The document of the proposed bill was sent to the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry today, he said.
