Prime Minister inaugurates IDEB's 22nd conference

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday inaugurated the three-day national conference of Institution Of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB).

The Premier opened the 22nd national conference at her official residence Ganabhaban at around 11:15 am.

Mr. Tivet, a robot made by IDEB, welcomed the Prime Minister at the inauguration ceremony. At the time, the Premier spoke with the robot. Sheikh Hasina asked the Robot, What is your name, How are you and what is the name of the Father of Nation?

The robot replied in the answer, My name is Mr. Tivat. The answer to the second question is 'Fine'. In response to the last question, the robot said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is the Father of Nation.

Earlier, when the robot was presented before Sheikh Hasina, it salutes to the Prime Minister.

After the hoisting the national flag, the Prime Minister announced the inauguration of the conference by blowing balloons and pigeons. The three-day conference will be continued till September 17.
