5 held with 43kg gold in Manikganj

Rapid Action Battalion members detained five active members of a gold smuggling gang with 43 kilogrammes of gold in Manikganj this morning.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-2 made the arrests in separate raids started last night, said Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, senior assistant director of Rab's legal and media wing.
Name and other details of the detainees could not be known immediately.
