Tonmoy earns landslide victory from Bagerhat-2

Awami League candidate Sheikh Sarhan Tonmoy has earned a landslide victory from Bagerhat-2 (Sadar and Kachua) constituency in the 11th national election. 

The information is confirmed from the office of Assistant Returning Officer on Sunday evening (December 30).

Sheikh Sarhan Tonmoy got 2, 21,212 votes while his nearest rival MA Salam of BNP got only 4,597 votes.

Sheikh Sarhan Naser Tonmoy, 32, has already attracted the attention of all as a handsome, lovely and a good orator.

He is the only son of Sheikh Helal Uddin MP, son of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s younger brother Sheikh Naser.

The 11th national election took place on Sunday (December 30).
