Two motorcyclists killed in C’nawabganj road crash

Two motorcyclists were killed when a truck rammed their vehicle in Kolyanpur area of the district town on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Mizanur Rahman, son of Jalal Uddin, and Moshiur Rahman, son of Salauddin, residents of Kolail Diyar area of Gomostapur upazila.

Sub-inspector Golam Mostafa of Chapainawabganj Police Sadar Station said the motorcycle skidded off when a pickup van came in front of it while the motorcycle was trying to overtake a truck around 8:30 am.

Later, the truck rammed the vehicle, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
