Man to die for killing wife in Satkhira

A court here on Thursday sentenced a man to death for killing his wife in Kalaroa upazila in 2012.
Satkhira District and Session Judge Sadiqul Islam Talukdar handed down the verdict after examining records and witnesses.
The convict Abdus Sabur, 52, son of Abul Kashem Molla of Murarikati village, strangled his second wife Romesa Khatun, daughter of Meher Ali Sardar of Kumarnal village, to death following an altercation between them on October 20 2012.
Later, locals caught Sabur and handed him over to police, according to the case statement.
