AL leader stabbed dead

A local Awami League leader was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants at Moazzempur village in Nandail, Mymensingh on Friday night.
The deceased was as Morshed Ali, 55, president of Moazzempur Union Awami League.
Officer-in-charge of Nandail police station Kamrul Islam Mia said that miscreants intercepted the rickshaw on which Morshed was returning home from a local market and stabbed him indiscriminately around 10:30pm, leaving him severely injured.
Later, Morshed succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital, said the OC.
