Names of Ekushey Padak recipients announced

The names of 21 eminent citizens, who will receive the prestigious Ekushey Padak this year, have been announced.

The Ministry of Cultural Affairs disclosed the names on Wednesday.

Ekushey Padak is the second-highest civilian award in Bangladesh. 

Each recipient will get a gold medal, a certificate, and a cheque of Tk2 lakh. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hand over the Ekushey Padak to the awardees.
