2 held with 340gm cocaine in Pabna

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested two men along with 340g cocaine from Dashuria area of the district town on Sunday evening.
The arrestees are Mamunur Rashid, son of Helal Uddin, hailing from Baniapara village in Kumarkhali upazila of Kushtia; and Shah Alam, son of Abdul Khalek, hailing from Kalyanpur village in Daulatpur upazila of Manikganj.
On information, a team of Rab-12 raided a Dhaka-bound Shyamoli Paribahan bus from Kushtia on Pabna-Kushtia Highway around 7pm and arrested the duo along with the cocaine worth Tk 2 crore, said Khalilur Rahman, assistant superintendent of police and commander of Rab-12 Pabna camp.
A case was filed.
