2 minor boys hurt in firework blast in Shariatpur

Two minor boys were injured in a blast while they were playing with fireworks at MollikKandi village in Bhedorganj upazila on Sunday night.
The injured are Marfan, 8, son of Milon Sheikh and Mohiuddin, 10, son of Omar Ali Sarder.
Enamul Haque, officer-in-charge of Sokhipur Police Station, said the blast occurred around 9 pm while a group of children were playing with fireworks, leaving Marfan and Mohiuddin injured.
The injured were taken to Shariatpur Hospital.
As Marfan sustained severe injuries, he was sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
