Return advance train ticket sale starts

Bangladesh Railway has started selling return tickets on Wednesday morning after finishing home going tickets.

The sale started at 9:00am at Kamalapur railway station, airport station and other selected five stations.

The Railway authority said for Eid return tickets those who will buy ticket on May 29 will get the tickets for June 7. And those who will purchase on May 30 and 31 they will get tickets for June 8 and 9 respectively. Passengers can also purchase tickets on June 1 and 2 for the tickets June 10 and 11 respectively.

The railway source also said that one person can buy only four tickets like earlier. To purchase tickets the passengers will have to show their national ID card.

However 50 per cent tickets can be bought from the app. If any online ticket remains unsold, ticket counters will sell them.
