Bodies of 2 missing boys recovered from Habiganj pond

Bodies of two minor boys were found floating in a pond in Baniachang upazila of Habiganj this morning, a day after they went missing.  

The deceased are Salman, 6, son of Faisal Miah, and Tayez Miah, 6, son of Tofazzal Miah of Ballabpur village in the upazila said police.

The families started searching the children and also announced their missing news through loudspeakers after the two went missing yesterday, said Moniruzzaman Monu, a union parishad member.

Bit their bodies were found in the pond today, the union parishad member said.

Informed by locals, police recovered the bodies from the waterbodies around 9:00am, Officer-in-charge Rashed Mobarok of Baniachang Police Station said adding that they are investigating the incident.
