Specialised labs to be set up at DU: Palak

State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak on Friday said specialised labs will be set up at Dhaka University (DU) to research new technology and face the fourth industrial revolution.

He came up with the remark at a discussion at Curzon Hall premises on the occasion of the month of mourning. Bangladesh Chhatra League organised the programme, a press release said.

Besides, Sheikh Russel Digital Lab will be set up at four residential halls of Curzon Hall area.

The students of the university will able to contribute in building a Digital Bangladesh, envisioned by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Palak said.

‘Digital Bangladesh’ was one of the key electoral pledges of the incumbent government.
