Garment workers block city road for arrears

Garment workers on Thursday morning blocked Satrasta at Tejgaon in the capital demanding payment of arrears, according to our reporter.

The vehicular movement was halted as the garment workers took to the street.

A good number of vehicles from Moghbazar, Gulshan and other spots were stranded. People from different walks of life, including office-going people, who were going to Karwan Bazar and many other places faced sufferings due to halt of their vehicular movement.
