Samrat used several ploys to avoid arrest: RAB chief

Director General (DG) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Benazir Ahmed has revealed that Jubo League leader Ismail Hossain Samrat left the capital and went into hiding a day after drives against illegal Casinos began.  

The RAB DG informed this while talking to journalists at the RAB headquarters in the city soon after the arrest of Samrat, the former president of Jubo League Dhaka (south).

Based on specific allegation of his involvement in illegal Casino business, Samrat was arrested, the RAB chief said.   

Benazir Ahmed also said the Jubo League leader, however, adopted different types of strategies to avoid his arrest.  

Mentionable, Ismail Hossain Samrat was expelled following his misdeeds and breaching organizational discipline hours after his arrest.
