113 policemen infected with coronavirus in last 24 hours

In the 24 hours, more than 113 police personnel tested positive for Covid-19, increasing the total number of reported cases in force to 854 across the country, according to a Bangladesh Police Headquarters tally.
In addition, five law enforcement officers died of COVID-19.
The largest number of cases of coronavirus occurred in Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
According to results, in the last 24 hours 93 policemen posted at DMP checked positively, increasing the number of reported cases in the unit to 449.
In addition, 315 are isolated as Covid-19 showed symptoms while 1,250 others, who were in close contact with the infected ones, are placed in quarantine, the data reveals.
