Covid-19 in Bangladesh: 14 dead, 887 infected in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours to Sunday morning Bangladesh confirmed 14 deaths from the novel coronavirus, bringing the body count to 228.
It is the second-highest single-day count of viral fatalities. Hitherto the highest single-day toll is at 15, reported on April 17.
However, the highest single-day cases from coronavirus infection were reported in Bangladesh as 887 more people tested positive in the last 24 hours.
The number of confirmed cases totaled jumped to 14,657 with the latest figure.
