Balloting postponed at one station

Voting in Comilla Government City College polling station was postponed on allegation of vote rigging on Thursday.

Witnesses said 3 /4 supporters of councilor candidate Ramij Uddin stormed into the polling station under ward no 21 of the city around 11 am and snatched ballot papers.

Several crude bombs were also exploded outside the polling station during snatching of the ballot papers.

Besides, police also recovered eight crude bombs from near Sri Ballavpur Government Primary School polling station in the morning.

Voting in the election to Comilla City Corporation (CCC) begins on Thursday morning.
