Bullet-hit bodies of 2 ‘drug traders’ found in Jhenidah

Police recovered bullet-hit-bodies of two alleged drug traders from Tetulbaria village in Jhenidah Sadar upazila this morning.

The deceased were identified as Mifiz Uddin, 25, son of Abdul Mazid, and Manik Hossain, 26, son of Korban Ali of Baparipara village in the upazila.

Mifiz and Manik were drug peddlers of the area, Jhenidah Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC), Harendranath Sarkar told our local correspondent.

Locals around 8:00am found the bodies lying beside a paddy field in the village and informed police, said OC Sarker.

The law enforcers rushed to the place, recovered the bodies and sent to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

The bodies bore bullet marks in different body parts.
