Bogra bus plunge kills 3

At least three people were killed and 30 injured when a bus fell into a roadside ditch in Simabari Bogra bazaar area at Shepur upazila of Bogra early Monday.
The deceased are Saidul Islam, 30, Tareq, 27, and Abdul Karim, 45. All are hailed from Saghata area of Gaibandha.
Police said the Narayanganj-bound bus from Gaibandha fell into a roadside ditch while overtaking a truck in the area around 12:45am, killing three on the spot and injuring others.
The injured were rushed to Sherpur Upazila Health Complex and Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College in Bogra.
Sherpur police station officer in-charge Khan M Erfan confirmed the incident and said the driver fled the scene after the incident.
