Karwan Bazar kitchen market to be shifted by this year

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayor Annisul Huq said that the kitchen market in city’s Karwan Bazar area will be relocated within this year.
He made the remarks in a view exchange meeting with journalists marking his two years anniversary as DNCC mayor at Hotel Sonargaon in Dhaka on Monday noon (May 15).
Annisul Huq said almost 70 percent space in Karwan Bazar area will be vacated within the next few months.
The mayor also said that the face of Dhaka city is changing everyday and city-dwellers should to stay beside him to see a new Dhaka.
