Man killed in Jhalakati ‘gunfight’

Suspected member of a robber group was killed in an alleged gunfight with police at Birpasha village in Sadar upazila of Jhalakati early Tuesday.

Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Police said they have recovered a one shutter gun from the spot.

Three policemen were also reportedly injured in the incident.
