A Dhaka court deferred until August 27 submission of investigation report in a case filed over Gulshan cafe attack.

The report was scheduled to be submitted on Sunday. As police failed to prepare the report, Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Nur Nahar Yasmin granted more time.

On July 1 last year, five members of militant outfit Islamic State attacked Holey Artisan bakery at diplomatic area of Gulshan in the capital killing 20 people, mostly foreigners.

The following day, five militants were killed in a commando operation by the army.
