9 injured in Ctg boiler blast

Nine workers of a steel mill sustained burn injuries on Sunday morning as the boiler of the mill exploded in Banubazar area of Bhatiari in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong.
The injured workers Md Hasan, 38, Md Nasir Uddin, 40, Sekandar Ali, 48, Samjay, 29, Omar Faruk, 35, md Mostafa, 27, Md Raju, 30, Nijam Uddin, 32, and Shariful, 33.
Witnesses said the boiler of "Seema Auto Rolling Mills" exploded with a big bang, leaving the nine workers injured.
The injured were rushed to a local hospital.
Administrative officer of the mill Md Kibria said the blast might have taken place to technical fault of the boiler.
