Biman to resume Dhaka-Cox’s Bazaar route

Biman Bangladesh Airlines will resume commercial flights on the Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar route over the weekend.

General manager Shakil Meraj of the national flag carrier said the first flight on the route will depart at 9:00am on Saturday, 6 May with prime minister Sheikh Hasina on board.

It will then leave the Port City’s Shah Amanat Airport to return to Dhaka at 5.30pm.

He said this flight will be operated commercially. All passengers will have to book their tickets. Passengers in the flight will get VVIP status as they will be flying with the prime minister.
