Mr. Kabir Bin Anwar, Honorable Secretary of Ministry of Water Resources, Bangladesh led a meeting with Mr. Elburn, Executive director of the Department of Environmental Conservation of New York State. The meeting took place in New York City on 23 September 2019.

Mr. Kabir Bin Anwar raised different issues such as water resource conservation, reservation process of clean drinking water, conservation of wetlands, ways of preventing wetlands from pollution.

Mr. Elburn explained about the execution of water-related laws and regulations, innovations and service simplification process in the New York State. In the meeting, he said that "planning and staffing are the keys to achieving the vision in the environmental conservation management system.
