Manikganj records zero Covid-19 positivity rate

The Covid-19 situation continues to improve in the district as no death was recorded today for the 51th consecutive day.
District health department sources said no new infection cases were reported after testing 47 samples in Colonel Maleque Medical College PCR Lab here during the last 24 hours till this morning. Currently, the infection rate stands at zero percent.
Medical Officer of Manikganj Civil Surgeon Office Dr. Rafiqun Nahar Banna said a total of 8,206 patients were detected Covid-19 positive in the district so far after testing 47,422 samples.
The number of cured patients from the lethal virus stood at 8,065, he said.
The death toll from the virus stands at 125 in the district.
