Bangladeshi girl elected ‘top speaker’ at Google developer summit

Bangladeshi RakhshandaRukkhan is elected as ‘top speaker’ at developer summit of upcoming Google I/O, largest technology conference in the world.

Bangladesh Goolge Women Tech Makers Lead Rakhshanda is elected through intenet voting of 500 participant across 100 countries.

Google Developer Group Project Manager Nadian Rose has confirmed the election of ‘top speaker’ though email.

Rakhshanda will take a session on Women Tech Makers activism titled ‘Ispiring 3500 plus women in 3 years’ at the tenth edition of Google’s annual conference at Mountain View at California at United States from 18 to 20 May where top developers, digital experts and technology professionals related to Google platform expected to participate.

As pre-event initiative there is hosted Google Developer Summit on day before the conference where around 500 developer group managers, google developer relation team members and google developer experts from 100 countries expected to present. There will be four Bangladeshi google community managers including Rakhshanda attended the developer summit.

Rakhshanda bagged maximum 61 votes from 500 developers. Besides, Uqrenian developer VitaliuZasadri ranked second with 44 votes and SanjibParida from India got 41 for third position.

Regarding the elected as top speaker, Rakhshanda said, “The responsibilities go high now. We will try to flag the nations as not only a participants but also an important part of conference. Hope, a Bangladeshi will sit the position of top executive of technology giant company like Google.”

RakhshandaRukham, final year student of Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Dinajpur who has been working with Google Developer Group Dhaka since 2012 and being elected as Google Women Techmakers Lead in Bangladesh in 2015.
