10 BNP men held in Sirajganj

Police in a drive arrested ten local leaders and activists of BNP from its party office at Shahjadpur upazila in Sirajganj on Wednesday.
Abdullah Al Mamun, president of Shahjadpur municipality unit Jubo Dal, its general secretary Zahidul Islam, Sabuj, Rashedul Islam, Hasanul Islam and Amir were among the arrestees.
Acting on secret information that the BNP men were gathering at its party office to create anarchy, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested ten activists and leaders of BNP, said Rakibul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shahjadpur Police Station.
