Rail communications with Sylhet snapped

The rail communications between Sylhet and the rest of the country remained suspended since Friday morning following derailment of a bogie of a freight train  in Daudnagar level crossing area in Sayestaganj upazila.

The bogie of Chittagong-bound freight train from Srimangal veered off the tracks near Sayestaganj railway junction about 10:30am, disrupting train movement on the routes, said acting station master Saiful Islam.
