Dhaka Tribune employee killed in city road crash

An employee of Dhaka Tribune has been killed in a road accident in the capital’s Jatrabari area.
The deceased was identifies as Md Nazim Uddin (38), Senior Executive of Dhaka Tribune’s Advertisement Department.
A bus knocked down his motorcycle and ran over him on Mayor Hanif Flyover Thursday morning.
According to witness, Nazim fell off from his motorcycle after the bus knocked him down around 9:45am. Later, the bus ran over him, leaving him critically injured.
He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where the doctor declared him dead around 10:10am.
Confirming the news, Assistant Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (Jatrabari zone), Iftekharul Islam, said police have seized the bus.
