- 3-day meeting with executive magistrates begins

Claiming that level-playing field has been created for the 11th parliamentary elections, Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda today said police and administration were working under the commission.

The law enforcers do not arrest anybody without the instruction of the EC, the CEC said at a briefing at the commission’s office.

And there are no government instructions on the EC over the upcoming election, he said.

All the activities of the commission have been conducted in accordance with the law, the CEC said.

KM Nurul Huda held the briefing after a meeting with executive magistrates on electoral code of conduct at the EC auditorium.

Today, was the first day of a three-day meeting where executive magistrates from 18 districts took part.
