3 killed as bus falls into roadside ditch in Noakhali

Three people were killed and 12 others injured as a passenger bus fell into a roadside marshy land at Chatkhil upazila in Noakhali on Wednesday morning.
The accident took place around 10:00 am at Munshirasta area on Chatkhil-Ramganj highway when a bus of Janani Paribahan lost control over the wheels.
Acting officer-in-charge (OC investigation) Saiful Islam of Chatkhil Thana confirming the matter said the injured were taken to different hospitals for treatment.
The identity of the victims could not be known immediately.
