Road accidents kill three in Narsingdi

Three people were killed in separate road accidents in Shibpur of Narsingdi district on Thursday morning.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The accidents took place at Kamartek gas field bus stand and Konderpara Sonaimuri Tek areas on Dhaka-Sylhet highway at around 9:30am.
Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Md Hafiz Uddin, in-charge of Itakhola Highway police outpost said a bus ran over two pedestrians at Kamartek Gasfield Bus stand area at 9:30am. At the same time, another vehicle hit a motorcyclist at Kondapara Sonaimury Tek area.
Police recovered an identity card of one named Arifur Rahman Sumon of Daily Matri Kantho from Kamartek accident spot but they were not sure whether the person is the victim or not, Hafiz Uddin said.
