Former President HM Ershad to be buried in Pallinibash of Rangpur

Jaitya Party Chairman HM Ershad will be buried to his hometown in Rangpur, says party leader Moshiur Rahman Ranga.

Ershad's wife Raushan Ershad gave her consent in this regard, says media report.

The namaz-e-janaza of Ershad, the son of Rangpur, was held at Rangpur Collectorate field at 2:30pm on Tuesday.

The ground of Rangpur Collectorate was turned into a human sea centring the janaza of Ershad. 

Earlier, the body of Leader of the Opposition in Parliament HM Ershad was taken to Rangpur by a military helicopter from Dhaka.

Nine leaders of Jatiya Party, including GM Quader accompanied with Ershad’s body.  

After the janaza in Rangpur, his body was supposed to bring back to Dhaka today for burial at the Military Graveyard.

His third namaz-e janaza was held in Dhaka at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad on Monday  morning and third one was held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after Asr prayers.

Later, the body was kept at the mortuary of CMH.
