Two dies by drowning in Chattogram

Two brother drowned in a pond in Gachua union of Sandwip Upazila on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Samir, 9, and Sabbir, 6, sons of Hafez Shahadat of the union.

Shamsuddin Rajdhon, Chairman of Gachua Union Parishad, said the two went missing on Friday noon. Later, their bodies were found floating in a nearby pond around 2pm.

Doctors pronounced them dead when locals took them to hospital.
