Father, son and 2 associates held with 40,000 Yabas

Four people, including a father and his son, were arrested for possessing 40,000 pieces of Yaba tablets at Kalapara of Patuakhali on Friday midnight.

The arrestees were identified as Yusuf Talukder, his son Almas Talukder and their two associates Sumon and Musa.

Sources said on the basis of secret information Kalapara Thana Police raided the house of Yusuf Talukder at Newapara village of Chakmoiya Union on Friday midnight and found such an enormous amount of Yaba pills from his house hidden inside a room.   

But the mastermind of the Yaba trading Boni Amin escaped the house sensing the presence of the law enforcers.

Ahmad Ali, additional superintendent of Kalapara Circle, confirmed that four persons were arrested along with 40,000 pieces of Yaba tablets.
