SC asks GP to pay Tk 1,000cr within Monday

The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Thursday asked mobile phone operator Grameen Phone to pay within Monday Tk 1,000 crore of the Tk 12,579.95 crore dues as claimed by Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
A seven-member bench of the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain passed the order following a petition filed by BTRC.
