34 more die, 2,644 test positive in 24hrs

The nation reported the death of 34 new people, which raised the total number of fatalities to 3,625.

The announcement was made on Saturday afternoon by a press release from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Health officials announced that an additional 1,012 people recovered from the disease every day, with a total of 157,635 recoveries.

Over the last 24 hours, 85 coronavirus research laboratories around the country screened 12,891 samples.
