5 held with 12 pound snake venom

The detectives of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in a raid on Monday night detained five people with 12 pound venom.
The DMP said this to media houses on Tuesday in an SMS.
The text message also reads that in another raid, the DMP detectives also detained five people on charge of making counterfeit bank notes.
The police have seized a lot of counterfeit notes and printing equipment from their possessions, it added.
However, the police did not disclose identities of the detainees in the text message.
The law enforcers will unveil details of the raids in a press briefing later today.
