2 killed in BRB Cable factory boiler blast in Kushtia

At least two laborers were killed and three others injured in a boiler explosion at BRB Cable factory in BSCIC Industrial Area of Kushtia on Monday (April 24).
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
Sadar Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Shahbuddin Chowdhury told Banglanews that the incident took place around 1 pm.
He further said four units of the fire service department were working to douse the blaze that erupted following the blast at the factory.
The injured were taken to Kushtia General Hospital, he added.
